On June 28, 2007, Tome City opened a permanent art museum,the Satoru
Sato Art Museum on the third floor of Tome City Community Education Center
in Nakada.The artworks and collections are exhibited here.The main purpose of
the museum is to provide our citizens with the opportunity to enjoy such superb
works of art.
The Satoru Sato Art Museum is the formative Tome City native and writer
Satoru Sato, his stay in Paris was met by friends and constructive geometric
donated by a collection of paintings on display.
